Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Weekend coverage required
* Float required between units
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
* First time travelers welcome
* Local candidates accepted
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Night shift patient ratio of 1:5
* Cerner charting system experience required
* EPIC experience required and must be noted in work history
* Community hospital experience required
* LTAC experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute must be in-hand when applying - MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted)
* California state license required and must be in-hand when applying
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* 24 orientation hours provided
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
* Skills include but are not limited to: telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, IV insulin protocols, central line blood draw, PICC line management, chest tube management, PCA management, and cardiac drip management
