Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
* Saturday weekends required
* No on-call responsibilities
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Compact license must be in hand at submission
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, OBMI prior to start
* Must be comfortable working with 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
* Administer and prepare contrast media and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts
* Work with GE equipment and PACS systems
* Work within a department containing 3 CT scanners for inpatient and outpatient use and 2 CT scanners in the ED
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Scrub color: any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
* 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 536 total staffed beds and maintains a daily census of approximately 450 patients with around 175 visits per day. The facility features a robust CT imaging department with 5 CT scanners total, including dedicated units in the main department and emergency department. Interdisciplinary support services including IV teams and transportation are available, and the facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system with no-cost parking available for staff.
