MHN-Invasive Cardiology: Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on various days of the week
* On-call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month, subject to change based on unit needs
* Weekend requirement is on-call only
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Charting system is Epic; experience preferred
* May float between like units based on facility needs
* Minimum 1 year of acute care or cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and valid ARRT (Radiography) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential
* Patients served are adults
* Key skills include: diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, IABP placement/removal, stent placement, scrub procedures, maintaining sterile field, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, vascular closure systems, and equipment setup and maintenance
