Job Details:

* 3x12-hour shifts per week
* 36 guaranteed hours per week; client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment
* Weekend availability required
* No on-call requirements
* No floating within facility required
* Block scheduling not available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level II or III experience required
* Triage experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* Cerner charting system; any charting system experience accepted
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Department has 72 beds with a daily census of 270-300 patients
* All beds are monitored except for fast track
* Required skills include management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions and PPE, and triage
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB or CPI, NIHSS, TNCC, CCRN
* Scrub color: No specific color required; camouflage or character patterns not permitted
* Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
* Parking is free

Facility:

This facility is an acute care hospital designated as a Magnet institution and a Level II Trauma Center with teaching hospital status. With 412 staffed beds, the facility provides comprehensive emergency care and supports a high-volume patient population. Interdisciplinary support services including phlebotomy, social services, and unit secretaries are available to assist clinical staff in delivering quality patient care.
