Opportunity:

Labor and Delivery RN

Job Details:

* 36 guaranteed hours per week with a 13-week assignment
* Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Weekend requirement of 2 weekends every 6 weeks; night shift weekends may include Fridays
* No on-call requirements
* No floating within the facility required
* Block scheduling is not available
* Minimum 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (must include all 11 components), Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Experience with vaginal exams and baby care required
* Experience with facility births of less than 100 to greater than 300 births per month required
* Patient diagnoses include Labor and Delivery and High Risk OB (HROB)
* Daily census of 37 with 33 rooms and 33 beds
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
* Scrubs: No specific color required, but no camouflage or character patterns
* Free parking available
* Three missed shifts may result in cancellation of assignment
