Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2453.92

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available on both day shift (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) and night shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
* Every other weekend rotation as needed
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* First-time travelers considered with significant NICU experience
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Washington state or compact nursing license required
* Strong IV skills required
* Assist with central lines including UAC, PICC, and UVC
* Ventilator experience required
* NAS care experience required including eat, sleep, console treatment, and morphine wean
* Familiarity with Bubble CPAP, high flow, nasal cannula, and neo puff required
* Pediatrics experience strongly preferred
* Care for patients 26 weeks gestation and higher
* Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 dependent on acuity
* EMR system: Epic
* Floating may be required to Mother Baby or other units as 1:1s or NACs
* Scrub color: Navy blue scrubs provided; travelers may wear their own scrubs but must follow OR suite guidelines when attending deliveries

This 226-bed non-profit community hospital features a 15-bed Level III NICU, providing advanced neonatal care to the surrounding community. The facility is equipped to care for premature infants as early as 26 weeks gestation and utilizes modern technology including Bubble CPAP and ventilators to support critically ill newborns.
