Open Position: RAD Tech - Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the cath lab as an X-ray Tech required
* Travel experience required
* On-call required: 2-3 on-call shifts per 2-week period, 1-2 nights per week, every 3rd-4th weekend
* Every 3rd weekend required
* Will float to sister facility - Mercy Hospital Unity campus as needed
* Daily caseload of 15 patients in department
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Perform CV and PVD lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart caths, ASD and PFO closures
* Perform advanced procedures including Impella, EKOS, rota-pro, and atherectomy
* Scrub stenting and drive the table
* Perform coronary angiograms, peripheral angiograms, stents, PFO, ASD, atherectomy, EKOS, CSI, and rotablade procedures
* Required equipment experience: C-Arm operations
* Preferred equipment experience: GE and Philips, Siemens, MedRad, Excellian, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, and Synapse
* Scrub experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
* Preferred certifications: ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification or RCIS
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Charting system: Epic (Excellian)
* No parking fees

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a teaching hospital and Level 2 Trauma Center with 258 total staffed beds. The facility features a 6-room cath lab with a daily census of 20 patients and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
