Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2384.32

Opportunity:

RN ICU- HRH Metro Region

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 shifts on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required - 6 to 8 per 6-week schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Floating required per unit needs and may include floating to other facilities within the metro region on a rare basis
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Additional certifications preferred: NIHSS, TNCC
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit specializes in general ICU care, cancer center head and neck cancer surgeries, and neuro/spine cases
* Unit is the only ICU in the hospital with 18 beds and a daily census of 15
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
* Key clinical skills required include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, continuous IV sedation, management of multisystem organ dysfunction, blood product administration, and interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias

This healthcare facility operates a general intensive care unit that serves as the only ICU within the hospital, providing critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of complex patient needs including neuro and spine cases as well as head and neck cancer surgeries. The facility benefits from robust interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy to ensure comprehensive patient care.
