Job Details:

* Self-scheduling with at least every other weekend required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 on all shifts
* No on-call requirements
* 20 visits per day with 7 rooms/beds
* Care for patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Float as needed to Anderson County Hospital
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks with cancelled shifts matching regular shift length
* Must reside at least 75 miles from facility - no local candidates accepted
* 1 year of emergency department experience required
* Trauma Level IV experience required
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrub color: Navy
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Required skills: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams

This critical access hospital operates a combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 7 beds and sees approximately 20 patient visits per day. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and provides interdisciplinary support through respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
