Opportunity:

RN - PACU / Cath Lab Recovery

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
* Cath Lab Recovery experience required
* Phase I PACU experience required
* Phase II Recovery experience required
* Pre-post experience required
* Circulating and scrubbing experience required
* Ambulatory/Outpatient experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Travel experience required within the last 12 months
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Patient ratio: 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patients served include adolescents and adults
* Daily census of 12 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Required certifications: CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Skills required include airway assessment, conscious sedation, discharge instructions, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), nerve blocks, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, pre/post cath lab procedures, pre/post operative procedures, ortho/spine, total joint replacement, and spinal procedures
