Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Intensive Care

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* Minimum 2 years of PEDS/PICU experience required
* Prior travel experience required
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process for pediatric patients
* Deliver comprehensive nursing services including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients
* Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed
* May be required to float to other departments up to competency level
* May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per schedule period
* Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* Facility reserves the right to call off, without penalty, up to 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract, which may include full or partial shifts

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced medical center serving a 500-mile radius, operating at the volume and pace of a Level I trauma center. The organization is a designated Level II Trauma Center with stroke accreditation and 800 inpatient beds. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive heart, cancer, and neurosciences services. The organization has pioneered numerous medical advancements in the region, including the first accredited heart failure center, the first Institute for Neurosciences, and the first low-dose CT imaging in the area.
