Job Details:

* Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with flexible start times
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts required
* 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
* Approximately 35 patients seen per day in an 11-bed emergency department with 1 trauma bay
* Both ER and ICU experience required
* Will float to ICU as needed
* Required to float throughout Region II facilities when needed, with an additional $20/hour when floated outside primary facility
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Ventilators used: PB980s
* 1 ED provider available 24 hours per day
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Phlebotomists handle lab draws
* IV team available during business hours
* Charge nurse position available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC

Facility:

This Critical Access Hospital emergency department operates with 11 beds and 1 trauma bay, providing acute care services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and offers respiratory therapy coverage around the clock. As part of a larger regional network, staff may be required to float between multiple facilities within Region II to support patient care needs across the area.
