Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 2+ years of experience working in the cath lab as an X-ray Tech required
* Travel experience required
* No first-time travelers accepted
* 100-mile radius restriction applies - locals not accepted
* Block scheduling type; not open to accommodating block schedule requests
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Daily department caseload of approximately 15 patients with a daily census of 20
* On-call required: 1-2 overnight shifts per week and every 3rd-4th weekend
* Every 3rd weekend call with off-site 30-minute response time; sleep rooms available on site
* Will float to sister facility as needed
* 72 orientation hours required
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Performs CV and PVD lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart caths, ASD and PFO closures, Impella, EKOS, rota-pro, and atherectomy
* Scrubs stenting and drives the table
* Performs coronary angiograms, peripheral angiograms, stents, PFO, ASD, atherectomy, EKOS, CSI, and rotablade procedures
* Required equipment experience: C-arm operations
* Preferred equipment experience: GE and Philips, Siemens, MedRad, Excellian, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, and Synapse
* Scrub experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
* Preferred certifications: ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification or RCIS
* Scrubs are provided
* No parking fees

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a teaching hospital and Level 2 Trauma Center with 258 staffed beds and 6 cath lab rooms. The facility utilizes Epic (Excellian) for charting and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The cath lab is a high-volume, full-service department capable of handling a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
