Job Details:

* 3x12 variable shift schedule
* 60 guaranteed hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks
* Weekend availability required
* No on-call requirement, though voluntary on-call for night shift hours is available
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Previous charge experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates not accepted - permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
* Required skills: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any or business casual
* Parking is free
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Level IV Trauma Center with a daily census of approximately 10 patients, 5 rooms, and 6 beds
* Unit is staffed with 2 nurses on day shift and 2 nurses on night shift with no techs, CNAs, or unit secretary
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
