Opportunity:

RN - Operating Room

Job Details:

* Work 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* One weekend per month required (7:00 AM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday)
* One to two call shifts per week based on need (end of shift until 7:00 AM the following day)
* 15-minute call response time required
* Team/self-scheduling available
* Scrubs provided
* One week of unit/department specific orientation
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with previous travel OR experience required
* Must have experience in Ortho, GYN, and General surgery
* Common cases include adult, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric patients
* Procedures include total joints, ORIF, arthroscopy, cesarean sections, LAVH, D&C, diagnostic lap, lap appy, lap chole, ex lap, and endoscopy
* Average of 6-10 cases per day with potential for up to 20 cases
* Work within a 6 OR suite and 1 GI suite facility
* RNs are not required to scrub
* OR techs available on staff
* Charting system: Meditech
* Occasional floating to other departments to assist with call lights and one-on-ones (no patient loads)
* Fit testing required - clinicians with facial hair must pass either the primary or secondary fit test
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS - all certifications must be current at time of submission

This acute care facility is a Critical Access Hospital offering a comprehensive range of surgical services across multiple operating room suites. The facility supports a broad spectrum of surgical specialties including orthopedics, OB/GYN, and general surgery, utilizing advanced technology such as C-arm and Mako robotic systems.
