5W MedSurg Tele

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 3 shifts per week on weekdays with every other weekend required
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Float within scope as needed
* Care for patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry conditions on a 32-bed unit
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with 1 year in-specialty experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Required certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS (must be through American Heart Association)
* WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
* Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
* Blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed
* No RTO restrictions, but must be included on application and discussed with manager during interview
* Orientation held every other Thursday

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center serving as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, the facility provides comprehensive medical care across a wide range of specialties.
