Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Part-time night shift position, 24 hours per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans with interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Epic EMR experience required
* Minimum two years of recent nursing experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA approved vendor), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Must be available to work Christmas and Christmas Eve
* Thanksgiving or New Year's Eve holiday may be approved off (one or the other, not both)
