Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with schedule preference to be communicated prior to interview
* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 60-bed Medical Surgical Unit with mixed acuity and patient populations
* Care for post-surgical cases, diverse medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice patients
* Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Care Team using clinical pathways, patient education, and interactive communication
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized written plans of care based on physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments
* Demonstrate effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication
* 2+ years of straight Medical Surgical experience required (not float, SDU, or telemetry)
* Level I or II Trauma experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
* Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
