Inpatient Pharmacist - Children's Hospital Pharmacy

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule working days and/or evenings depending on department need
* Every 4th weekend minimum coverage required
* 80 orientation hours
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience required; PGY1 residency training may be considered equivalent
* RPh required; PharmD preferred
* Inpatient/acute care experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Candidates with exposure to children's and women's health considered
* May staff clinically in relevant clinical areas or operationally in dispensing pharmacy (Pharmacist in Charge, sterile processing) based on experience and competence
* Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
* Experience with pediatric dosing preferred
* Experience with Carousel System, Pyxis, and sterile technique preferred
* Charting system: Epic
* 202 beds in unit

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical services across multiple specialties. The children's hospital component provides specialized care for pediatric and neonatal patients, supported by advanced clinical and operational pharmacy services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a robust pharmacy department including sterile processing capabilities.
