Job Details:

* Night shift pharmacist position with a 7 on 7 off schedule
* Weekend coverage required
* Will work at both Women's and Westside hospital locations
* 1 year of pharmacy experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, IV Certification, PharmD, RPh
* New Mexico Pharmacy license required (pending accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Must be proficient with required skills including: antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, carousel system, clinical dosing, compounding, geriatric dosing, high-alert medications, hyper alimentation, IV piggyback, IV push medications, mixers for TPN, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

Facility:

This healthcare organization operates multiple hospital locations providing comprehensive inpatient and acute care services. The facility supports a diverse patient population across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 80 patients and 120 beds. The pharmacy department plays an integral role in interdisciplinary patient care, utilizing advanced systems and equipment to ensure safe and effective medication management.
