Job Details:

* Work in a Level II Trauma Center with 5 pods and 49 beds
* Maintain a maximum patient ratio of 4:1
* Provide emergency care in a high-volume department seeing approximately 68,000 annual visits
* Care for patients including pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases
* Utilize EPIC charting system for patient documentation
* Minimum 2+ years of previous emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher required
* Experience must include pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
* Current California nursing license required
* Current ENPC preferred

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center. The facility operates a large emergency department with 5 pods and 49 beds, handling a high volume of complex cases annually. The organization maintains high standards of care and only accepts agency staff who are W-2 employees of their respective agency.
