Opportunity:

Laboratory Technologist (MLT or MT)

Job Details:

* Night shift position
* Work under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager
* Perform laboratory tests and accurately report results to physicians for use in diagnosis, treatment, and/or monitoring of diseases
* Assist in the general operation of the laboratory
* Participate in quality assurance programs
* Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment
* Serve as a general supervisor for waived, moderate, and high complexity testing after probation is satisfactorily completed
* Must be able to work independently
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or related area of specialty required
* Certification/registration or certification/registry eligible as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician required
* National certification (AMT or ASCP) required
* Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques of medical technology required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required
