RN - Med-Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit located on the 4th floor of Tower B
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* 4 weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) required in a 4-week period
* Prior inpatient acute care experience required
* Basic dysrhythmia experience required
* Experience working at a trauma center preferred
* Perform PIV insertion, management, and removal
* Perform central line management and removal
* Perform Foley catheter insertion, management, and removal
* Perform nasogastric tube insertion, management, and removal
* Perform drain management and removal
* Provide wound care and ostomy management
* Perform continuous bladder irrigation
* Perform chest tube management
* Perform EKGs
* Operate Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer and Sara Steady lifts, feeding pumps, Welch Allyn Vital Sign Machines, iMobile, and Vein Finder
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required equipment knowledge: BLS, NIHSS
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs; black pants are permitted
