Job Details:

* Work shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM in the Emergency Department
* Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Floating to other units required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department required with some pediatric experience
* Travel experience required
* Provide care to all assigned patients including SANE patients
* Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
* Experience with specialty equipment required: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Proficiency with required drips and medications including pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine), vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido), sedation medications (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), TNK, Heparin, and Insulin
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
* Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification
