Opportunity:

RD/RDN - Dietitian

Job Details:

* Serve adult and geriatric patient population
* Patient ratio of 1:100 with approximately 25 visits per day and an average daily census of 280
* Responsible for inpatient therapies and interventions including calorie counts, tube feedings, food-drug interactions, TPN, treatment plan development, and nutrition assessments
* Required skills include enteral nutrition, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), intake and output monitoring, food-drug interactions, and nutrition assessments and reassessments
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN, and Georgia license
* Required charting system experience: Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
* Scrub color: Purple
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Schedule includes every 5th weekend
* On-call required on weekends and after hours as assigned
* Floating required within the facility
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Holiday work expectations: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day
* 40 orientation hours required

The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, phlebotomy, interpretation services, transportation, and rapid response teams.
