Opportunity:

Pediatric Pediatric OR CST

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with potential modification to 4x9-hour shifts to accommodate sister unit needs
* On-call required with 3 to 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule period
* Weekend requirement around the holidays
* Holiday call may be required, including possible coverage for transplant cases
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like sister units and sister facilities as required
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks, with called-off hours able to be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Minimum 1 year of continuous scrub experience required
* Experience in ophthalmology, neuro, and ENT required, with both pediatric and adult patient populations
* Common procedures include Lap Appy, Ortho Trauma, Polytrauma, and Craniotomy
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
* Radiation badge required and will be provided by agency
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Block schedule available upon manager approval based on unit needs
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The department is a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven environment that utilizes cutting-edge technology.
