Open Position: RN - Cardiovascular

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2485.40

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* On-call responsibilities required
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required
* Heart Transplant experience required
* Manage 3-4 patient assignments including admission holds
* Float to other units as needed
* Document using Meditech system (experience preferred)
* Perform procedures including Coronary Artery Bypass, Surgical Valve Replacements, Adult Heart Transplant, TAVR, Pediatric Hearts, Thoracic/Lung procedures, and Ventricular Assist Devices
* Preferred experience includes Pediatric Heart, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Cell Saver, and Peripheral Vascular
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible; body art not feasible to cover daily will be addressed individually
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
