Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2891.08

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 3 shifts per week with rotating days of the week
* Voluntary call required
* Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required, Level 3 experience minimum
* Previous neonatal transport experience preferred
* Previous experience attending deliveries for neonatal resuscitation purposes preferred
* Must have Epic experience
* Associate's Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
* RNC or CCRN certification preferred
* Current RN nursing license required
* Provide nursing care for both stable and critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
* Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy including blood products
* Care for and maintain indwelling catheters and drains
* Operate medical equipment in the neonatal intensive care environment
* Manage neonates requiring mechanical ventilation and other ventilatory support devices including nasal CPAP, O2 cannula, and ETT nasal/oral nebulized medication
* Care for critically ill neonates with a variety of diagnoses ranging from micro premie to term infant
* Monitor physiological changes and address psychosocial needs of neonates and their families
* Provide education and training to patients and their families
* Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel
* Cross-trained and may float to Pediatrics
