Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 10.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekend rotation - weekends covered by call only
* On-call requirement: approximately every 4th weekend from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
* Weekday on-call: 1 call per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Navy scrubs provided by the facility
* No floating required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will not be considered
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* EMR systems: EPIC and Merge
* Administer and monitor conscious sedation
* Assess and monitor clinical status of patients
* Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in Cath Lab
* Maintain knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support
* Communicate effectively with patient care team, patients, and patients' families
* Work with patient types including cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology

This non-profit community hospital features 226 total beds and a dedicated Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms and 5 holding bays for pre- and post-procedure care.
