Opportunity:

MFM Diagnostic Sonographer

Job Details:

* 4x8 day shift schedule, 32 hours per week
* Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:15 AM, and 7:30 AM
* Shift end times vary between 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and 4:00 PM
* Guaranteed contracted hours
* Weekend requirement approximately every 4 to 6 weeks
* No on-call required
* Daily caseload of 45 visits per day
* Will float between two facility locations as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue for ultrasound technologists
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS credentialed in Abdomen, OBGYN, Pediatric, or MSK; Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
* Multiple ARDMS specialties preferred
* Vascular experience required, including arterial ultrasounds with bypass grafts and stents
* Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program, Associate of Applied Science Degree, or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited ultrasound program required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Candidates cannot live within 50 miles of either facility location
* Finalized time off requests must be included at submission; no time off within the first week of start date and no more than 10 days of time off per assignment

Facility:

This healthcare organization operates both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital, offering a wide range of medical services across two locations. The acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center with 479 staffed beds, supported by an extensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The outpatient clinic complements the hospital by providing specialized diagnostic services in a modern, patient-focused environment. Both locations utilize Epic for charting and offer free parking for staff.
