Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Night shift position with weekends as needed
* Schedule is completed in 6-week blocks and posted 2 weeks before each block starts
* Holiday shifts required
* Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3-4 depending on acuity
* Charge nurse opportunities available, particularly for night shift travelers
* Float to Post Partum as needed
* Required certifications: BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
* BSN not required
* Scrub color is staff dependent
* Charting system: EPIC
* Phillips cardiac monitors used on unit
* Experience with drips required, including insulin and dopamine
* Experience with Drager 500 ventilators preferred
* Work with patients as early as 24 weeks gestation
* No surgical services, no cooling, and no ECMO on unit
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Facility:

This facility operates a 34-bed Level NICU providing specialized neonatal care with a dedicated PICC team and floor-specific orientation for all new staff. The unit is supported by neonatologists on-site 8 hours per day, 7 days per week, with advanced practice providers available 24/7. Additional support services include respiratory therapy and pharmacy coverage available around the clock to ensure comprehensive patient care.
