Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Work rotating shifts with every 4th weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week
* Patient types include Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties
* May float across NICU, general floor, and PICU
* Patient ratios of 1:4 in a 12-bed unit
* Pediatric experience within the previous 24 months required
* Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the previous 15 months required
* EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 12 months required
* First-time travelers accepted with at least 12 months of Pediatric ER experience
* De-escalation certificate is a nice to have
* Skills checklist specific to Pediatric/Pediatric Emergency Room discipline required
* Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
* Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the previous 24 months preferred
* All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
