Open Position: Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy Assistant

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1855.84

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements
* Schedule includes 1 hour for evaluations and 45 minutes for follow-up appointments
* No double booking policy with a total of 8-9 patients per day
* Must be a graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program
* California PTA license required
* Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient physical therapy preferred
* Must maintain BCLS certification without any lapses
* Required to demonstrate proficiency in physical therapy procedures and modalities
* Provide treatment as directed by primary Physical Therapist
* Maintain organized patient records with legible, timed, and dated chart entries
* Demonstrate safe and effective use of modalities including spinal traction, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, diathermy, and infrared light
* Perform therapeutic exercise, soft tissue mobilization, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, orthotic/prosthetic training, and taping
* Complete annual education requirements and participate in quality improvement projects
* Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code requirements
* Work within California State Practice Act guidelines
