Facility:

This 815-bed acute care facility serves as a regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care and is the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region. The facility offers a variety of specialties including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, women's services, and behavioral health. Cardiovascular services include the only open heart and interventional cardiology program in the region, making it the second busiest surgical hospital in the state. The facility has earned national recognition from U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, and Healthgrades. A recently opened state-of-the-art patient tower features over 630,000 square feet including a new Emergency Department, interventional procedural rooms, new operating rooms, and 220 private patient rooms.
