Opportunity:

RN - FSED

Job Details:

* Work in a freestanding emergency department with 11 beds and a 1:4 patient ratio
* Day and night shift positions available with 3 RNs per shift
* Every other weekend required
* Must have 2 years of FSED/ED experience
* Proficiency with tough sticks, large bore IVs, blood cultures, triage, and monitoring required
* Ability to work with minimal oversight preferred
* Perform POC lab procedures and emergency response procedures
* Work with trauma equipment, POC lab equipment, and assist with precipitous deliveries
* Follow emergency protocols including code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis
* Float to other FSEDs and ED as needed
* EMR system: Meditech
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, CPI

Facility:

This freestanding emergency department provides comprehensive emergency care services with an 11-bed unit staffed around the clock. The facility is equipped to handle a wide range of emergency situations including trauma, point-of-care lab services, and precipitous deliveries. The team follows established emergency protocols for critical situations including code blue, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis, ensuring high-quality care for all patients.
