Open Position: RN - PCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1947.72

Opportunity:

RN PCU / MC Las Colinas

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in a PCU setting required
* Active RN license required
* PCU level of care or higher required - med/surg nurses will not be considered
* Telemetry interpretation skills required
* Experience with critical cardiac drips preferred
* Experience with hematoma management post sheath removal preferred
* Patient ratios of 4:1, with possibility of 5:1 when a tech is available
* Work with bedside vital signs machines in each room
* Use Meditech EMR system
* No on-call requirement
* May be required to float to Med/Surg
* 11-bed unit with a team of 20 staff members
* Night shift team consists of 1 charge nurse and 3 nurses with a tech when at full capacity
* Typical procedures include Para or Thora
* Must be a team player with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills

This healthcare facility is a full-service hospital with a dedicated Progressive Care Unit located on the second floor of the main hospital building adjacent to the emergency room. The unit maintains an 11-bed capacity with a strong, experienced staff focused on providing high-quality cardiac and progressive care. The facility utilizes modern bedside monitoring equipment and an advanced EMR system to support efficient and effective patient care.
