Opportunity:

Interventional Cardiology Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, weekends off
* No on-call requirements
* Float to Ballard clinic location every Tuesday
* 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Cardiology experience required
* Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) preferred; Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) accepted
* Required skills include vital signs, height/weight, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry, and recording patient history/medications/allergies
* Office duties include authorization forms, chart preparation, insurance verification, pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, and telephone triage
* Professional skills required: reviewing lab tests and rooming patients
* Strong preference for candidates with experience using Microsoft Excel
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Valid Medical Assistant license required
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Scrub color to be determined

This Heart and Vascular Clinic provides specialized interventional cardiology services in an outpatient setting. The facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations and utilizes EPIC as its electronic health records system. The clinic operates across multiple locations and is committed to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to the community.
