Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty
* Must have experience with heart and lung transplant cases
* Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
* Must have experience with trauma cases
* BLS certification required
* CST (Certified Surgical Technician) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting preferred
* Must submit a skills checklist
* Call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 full weekend per 4 weeks
* 40 orientation hours required
* Daily census of 75-100 patients across 33 rooms
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Must be proficient with Xi robotic surgical system
* Experience with LVADs and robotic thoracic procedures required
* Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
* Key skills include but are not limited to: CVOR, CABG, heart and lung transplants, TAVR, VATS, VAD, trauma, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures, orthopedic procedures, and general OR cases

The facility serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and upholds rigorous clinical standards, offering surgical technologists the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity setting.
