RN - Float Pool (Surge)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12s)
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* Every other weekend and holiday requirement
* No on-call requirements
* 13-week contract assignment
* Must be able to float to other units
* Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Cardiac experience required
* No block scheduling accommodated
* Up to 3 days preapproved time off available as long as it is not during a holiday
* Patient ratio averages 1:7
* Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only), NIH, and VA State License or Compact
* Scrub color: Navy Blue, all attire must follow dress code policy
* Specialty areas include Cardiac, Float Pool, Med Surg, and Telemetry
* Treat acute care patients across units

This facility is a 495-bed hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center, recognized for exceptional patient safety standards, including nine consecutive years earning an "A" grade in Patient Safety. The facility operates large units with at least 30 beds per unit and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
