Opportunity:

CONTRACT - RN - MED SURG/TELE 5C (612) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:5
* Work on a 30-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
* Perform procedures including Stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
* Utilize equipment including Welch Allyn Vital Sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Navy scrubs required; hoop nose piercings not allowed
* Required certifications: BLS, NIH
* Preferred certifications: ACLS
* Team-oriented and self-motivated personality a strong fit for this unit

Facility:

This medical center is a full-service healthcare facility housing a dedicated Neuro Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit on its 5th floor. The unit operates with a robust multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and patient care technicians across both day and night shifts. The facility has been recognized for excellence in patient care through multiple ICARE awards and maintains a culture of staff recognition based on patient feedback.
