Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (707)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Perform vaginal and c-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions
* High-risk OB cases are part of the unit's scope
* Work with Centricity and GE monitors
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* May float to postpartum unit to care for mothers only (no baby assignments) or to NICU for helping hands only (no assignment) - floating is rare
* Must be a self-starter who can work independently and support fellow teammates
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital L&D experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
* Meditech experience preferred
* PACU and OR experience preferred

The unit is staffed with experienced RNs, certified surgical technologists, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, OB hospitalists, and OB residents, ensuring high-quality care around the clock. The facility is equipped with modern technology and maintains strong staffing levels to support a high-volume, high-acuity patient population.
