Open Position: RN - Rehab Inpatient

Opportunity:

RN - Rehabilitation Hospital

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts on a schedule consisting mostly of weekends
* 3 shifts per week required
* Patient ratios of 5-6 patients per nurse
* Work across all 4 units, which are connected and interchangeable with no floating required
* Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
* Utilize equipment including IV pumps, specialty beds, feeding pumps, lifts and transfer equipment, and life vests
* CNAs available on all shifts with 11 hours of unit secretary support
* Medical/surgical experience required; rehabilitation experience a plus
* Required certification: BLS
* Dress code: Navy scrubs with white tops

Facility:

This 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serves as a regional referral center offering rehabilitation programs for a multitude of illnesses, injuries, and conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and amputation. The facility provides a full continuum of post-acute rehabilitative care including traditional physical, occupational, and speech therapies as well as specialty rehabilitation programs. The hospital holds CARF and Joint Commission certifications and is the only rehabilitation hospital of its kind in Western North Carolina.
