Open Position: RN - Mother Baby Postpartum

Opportunity:

RN Mom/Baby

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Tuesday starts required
* 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:3 couplets with up to 6 patients
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 2 resource nurses, 2 admit nurses, 7-15 RNs, and 2 PCTs
* Mother/Baby experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
* NICU/postpartum experience preferred
* Perform Mother/Baby care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotics
* EMR system: CPN
* Required certifications: NRP and BLS
* May occasionally float as a resource nurse
* Positive attitude, flexibility, and team player mentality expected

Facility:

This facility is a large Mother/Baby unit with 70 beds and a staff of 120, located on the 7th floor. The unit provides comprehensive postpartum care including lactation support, phototherapy, and newborn services. The facility maintains a collaborative team environment and is equipped with modern tools and technology to support both maternal and newborn patient populations.
