Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2537.96

Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required with varied number of weekend shifts per contract
* Ability to float to other facilities within 75+ mile radius required
* Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab experience required
* Prior travel experience within 12 months required
* BSN required
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 24-hour nursing rehabilitation environment
* Patients receive minimum 3 hours of intense therapy at least 5 days per week including Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy
* Interdisciplinary approach to patient care including daily huddles and weekly team conferences
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuro, trauma, amputation, cardiac, LVAD, organ transplants, and respiratory conditions
* Safe patient handling equipment required including Sara Steady and similar lifts (no overhead lifts)
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Acute rehab experience preferred
* Neuro/Stroke unit experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* CRRN preferred
* Required certifications: CA RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS

This facility is a leading academic medical center offering comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services with an interdisciplinary care model. The unit features 25 beds serving adult and geriatric patients requiring intensive acute inpatient rehabilitation. The facility provides robust support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and a dedicated unit secretary.
