Open Position: RN - PCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1903.72

Opportunity:

RN - TELEMETRY

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment on the IM/ISCU (7C) unit
* 12-hour shifts available on day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:3-4 on a 47-bed split unit with Unit Secretaries and PCTs available
* Perform procedures typical of a progressive care department including telemetry monitoring, trach care, and management of various drips
* Utilize Meditech documentation system (experience preferred)
* Use routine equipment typical of a progressive care department
* Float as needed per facility floating policy
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Active Texas RN license required (temporary license will not be accepted)
* Minimum 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required, with previous critical care experience required
* Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket; clean and healthy nails; neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
