Emergency Department Tech

Job Details:

* Assist with patient admissions for outpatients and inpatients in the Emergency Department and other clinical areas as needed
* Perform clerical duties associated with patient care
* Assist with patient care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric as directed by Emergency Department Manager, Medical Director, and unit delegates
* Provide support in a fast-paced environment treating patients with a wide variety of needs from non-critical to emergent medical conditions including mental health care
* Care for patients arriving by walk-in or emergency transport
* Current unencumbered Oregon EMT, AEMT, or EMT-I license required upon submission
* Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
* Previous Emergency Department experience required
* Experience or training in computer applications required
* Only candidates with hospital or Emergency Department experience will be considered
