Open Position: RN - Med Surg Cardiac Adult

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Schedule requires 36 hours per week
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirement
* Work primarily on a Cardiac unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg areas including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
* Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
* Hospital experience required
* Must be proficient in reading telemetry and will complete a telemetry competency on day one
* Current Epic EMR proficiency required and must be clearly documented
* Required certifications: Active BLS and ACLS

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Cardiac unit alongside a range of specialized Med-Surg departments including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, and Observation services. The facility maintains high standards for clinical competency and utilizes Epic EMR as its primary electronic medical records system. The organization is committed to delivering quality patient care across multiple specialty areas and expects contract staff to be independently proficient from day one of their assignment.
