Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* ICU Stepdown / PCU unit with 20 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs
* Work with equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, Foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, and SCD pumps
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs
* Administer drips including heparin, tikosyn, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Lasix, and ketamine
* Fast-paced and high-acuity cardiac unit at a cardiac center of excellence
* Minimum 1 year of current PCU experience required
* Extensive neuro experience and cardiac experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Ideal candidate is a great team player with high energy
