Job Details:

* 10-hour evening shifts
* Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts, likely once per month
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Previous travel assignment required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience scrubbing and circulating Neurosurgery cases required, including Neurovascular (Open and Intraoperative Angiography), Functional, Peripheral Nerve, and Neurooncological specialties
* Must be able to both scrub and circulate
* Previous charge experience required
* California RN license required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certifications: CNOR
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Patient ratio: 1:1
* 28 operating rooms
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include: Appendicitis, Cholestasis, Hernia, Obesity, Ureteral Obstruction, Thyroid Cancer, Liver Cancer, and Kidney Cancer
* Special procedures include: Laparoscopic cases, Robotic cases, Open belly cases, and Cystos
* Special equipment includes: Da Vinci Xi Robot
* Interdisciplinary support available: Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* 2 references from most recent employer required
* 40 orientation hours required
