Job Details:

* Work 8-hour shifts during pharmacy hours of 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, most likely covering the middle shift
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* Perform pharmacist order verification in Epic system
* Check floor stock and compounded sterile products
* Conduct VTE high risk determinations
* Make phone calls to patients scheduled for surgery 7 to 10 days before their procedure
* Double-check technician work including floor stock filling, anesthesia kits, and anesthesia trays
* Assist with OR schedule next day medication preparation
* Perform sterile compounding checks
* Utilize Epic and MILT systems for computerized charting and order management
* Hospital pharmacy experience required with 2 to 3 years of experience preferred
* No floating to other units or departments
* Business casual attire or black scrubs required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, PALS

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 26-bed unit with a fully equipped hospital pharmacy department. The pharmacy team utilizes Epic for order verification and MILT systems to support comprehensive medication management services. The department provides a collaborative environment where pharmacists work alongside technicians to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery across the facility.
